Xert Daily Ditty – Mixing Physics With Physiology

Xert Daily Ditty – Mixing Physics With Physiology

Yesterday I performed intervals using the Xert Colour Scheme, and I recorded Gas Exchange with my Vo2 Master Gas Exchange Analyzer.

The Intervals were 60 seconds each, with 60 second recoveries.

My Vo2 max is somewhere between 65ml/kg/min and 68ml/kg/min, and to achieve solid results from a hard set of intervals, we need to push intensity above 90% of Vo2 Max.

Well, the intervals at Threshold Intensity, and then MAP/Vo2 Intensity, achieved their goal. I routinely ended up above 58.5ml/kg/min for at least 30 seconds per interval.

Watch the Video and let me know what you think.
